Community Involvement
Timberlake feels it is very important to be involved in their community. The Leadership Team sets aside 5% of the total offerings each month to give to a worthy charity in the Toledo area.
At Christmas time, Timberlake hooks up with the Angel Tree Project to provide gifts of clothing and toys to those children who currently have a father or mother that is in prison.
Campus Life is a place for Springfield H.S. students to meet, have fun and be
introduced to a God who is crazy-in love with them. They meet every Monday at Timberlake
church from 7-9pm.
The Middle School Campus Life for Jr. High is meeting every Friday night (only on Fridays that they have school) at the church from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
We are currently searching for a building to purchase in order to open a community center in the area.
Love INC serves as a network for the Toledo Area congregations linking them with faith-base and social service agencies while serving as a clearinghouse for families and individuals in need.
The 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, our Angel Arm's Clothing ministry visits Northgate church to hand out clothing to those in need in the inner city.
Drama
Our Sunday morning services include drama once or
twice each month. We have a talented drama team that enhances Pastor Brad's
message with a relevant drama that touches on the theme for that week. The
dramas will sometimes cause you to laugh out loud and some will bring tears to
your eyes.
Music
Music is a big part of each of our services. Our band includes drums, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, and keyboard. The band, along with our worship leaders, lead us in a time of worship using modern worship choruses. Our music and worship team is a talented, special group of people and you will be blessed by their ministry.
KidStuf
A program for kids that uses drama, music and lessons to teach and inspire character values and faith to children and their parents. Designed to reach families for learning and having fun together while experiencing a meaninful worship. Full KidStuf Family Program are on the second Sunday of each month during each service -- with fun and exciting children classes all other times.
Loving Arms
A group within the church to reach out and share God's love to our members, families, friends and neighbors through cards for events (birthdays, get well, encouragement, etc), help with errands, chores and providing meals as needed, organizing church events and so much more. Meet first and third Monday of each month, 6:00 pm.
Missionary Support
Timberlake Community Church helps support missionaries in the countries of Bangladesh, Brazil, Haiti, and India. We also support missionary work here in the U.S. in several different areas including: the Navajo Indians in New Mexico and Arizona, Hispanic ministries in California and Florida, and Haitians who have immigrated into New York City and Florida.
